The Particulars

We only dye with ethically sourced materials, including our yarns and dye plants.  The nature of hand dyed yarn, natural or not, is the colors can vary even in the same dye pot. Therefore if you want a sweater quantity we will do everything we can to make them match. This includes custom dyeing a new batch so they will be in the same dye pot.

All our colors are available in Worsted, DK, Sport and Fingering weights.  I only dye in 100% Superwash Merino,  Alpaca/Silk or Mohair/Silk.  If you would like a different base, let me know and I'll try to accommodate and will quote you a price.

If you are ordering more than 4 skeins, or a sweater quantity, I will dye up a batch just for you to ensure colors are as close as possible.    Eligible colors will be indicated as such.  Sadly, foraged color dyestuff availability may impact the larger quantities of some colors.  Don't blame me, complain to Mother Nature =)

There are many You Tubes and resources on how to blend hand dyed yarn together, check them out.  If I ever get a chance, I'll post some of my favorites here!
